We believe our target market opportunity is $0.9 billion annually within North American hotels and casinos. During the latter half of the last decade, the U.S. hotel industry spent nearly $8 billion on information technology.  In the hotel and gaming industry, payroll and related costs comprise approximately 45 percent of operating expenses.  Furthermore, $166 billion in wages and salaries is spent annually for lodging and tourism employment in North America alone. Our target market is both hotel management companies and hotel investment groups which own or manage 20 or more hotels.

The hotel and gaming industries have lagged behind in the adoption of information technology compared to other service industries (e.g. retail, call centers etc.). The hotel and gaming industries have largely depended on individual manager’s intuition and experience to develop forecasts and many operation practices have not been automated or standardized for consistency.

Through implementation of forecasting automation software, these industries would be estimated to save from $8.3 billion to $16.6 billion per year by improving forecasting accuracy and optimizing labor standards, which optimize staffing levels. Through automation of the forecasting process, administrative tasks and headcount will be decreased and managers will be able to focus attention on revenue generation and increasing profits rather than personnel administration and “putting out fires”.
